Policy

Packaging Policy:

Pirate Coffee Company uses FDA approved foil bags that are heat sealed. We also use a one-way de-gassing valve to keep the newly roasted product at peak freshness. Our RED bags are for our Estate coffees, our GREEN bags are for our Water Processed decaffeinated coffee and our BLACK bags are for our exclusive Pirate Blends. Three and Five pound orders are shipped in FDA approved 6 mil Vinyl bags with a one-way valve for de-gassing.

 The Pirate recommends storing the coffee in a cool, dark and dry environment. Freezing is OK as long as the freezer is a manual defrost type. The Pirate does not recommend using a “Frost Free” freezer for storage.

Refund Policy:

 Products that have been received in error or the product is damaged in shipment; return the unopened product for a complete refund or exchange within 15 days of the delivery. Please be sure to include a copy of the invoice you received from Pirate Coffee Company. We will refund the full purchase price of the products you return, however we do not pay for the shipping from your location to ours.

Shipping Policy:

Pirate Coffee Company reserves the right to ship it's products with the shipping vendor of it's choice, including the United States Postal Service, UPS and FedEx regardless of the selection made during the checkout phase with no additional charge to the customer for the service. Usually this is done as a result of our experience in shipping to various locations worldwide over the past decade, promptness is out first concern. Should you prefer a certain shipping vendor please indicate your requirement in the comment section during checkout. Thanks
